David represented two young women who gave their boss $13,000.00 to help him make payroll when he ran into financial difficulties.  After having talked them out of the $13,000.00, the boss then defaulted on the payment.  This firm agreed to represent the two young ladies in an attempt to recover the money, knowing that the likelihood of success was extremely low.  Eventually, a judgment was entered against the Defendant and post judgment proceedings were initiated to collect the unpaid judgment. The Defendant filed bankruptcy, bringing to an end efforts to hold him accountable for his misconduct.  Even though the firm was unable to recover the money it forced the Defendant into bankruptcy where he will have an obligation to disclose all of his assets and maybe these young women can recover a small portion of what they advanced for the payroll.
